Organic & AI Search Growth
An SEO Agency That Ranks You in Google and Gets You Cited in AI Answers
OnlyConversion is an SEO agency specialising in technical SEO and generative engine optimisation. We help B2B and ecommerce companies win organic search visibility in Google and get cited in AI answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews. Every engagement is measured in qualified pipeline rather than in traffic.
No pitch. No pressure. We'll show you where your competitors are being cited and you aren't.
Illustrative composition, not a screenshot of a live result.
Who this is for
This works best for a specific kind of business
We're a fit if:
- You sell a considered purchase, meaning B2B software, professional services or high-value ecommerce, where a buyer researches for weeks before they contact anyone.
- You already rank for something and it isn't converting. Or you convert well and nobody can find you.
- Your competitors are showing up in AI answers and you're not.
- You can attribute revenue to a channel, or you're willing to start.
We're not a fit if:
- You need rankings inside a month. Organic compounds rather than spikes, so paid search will serve you far better in that window, and we would say so on the first call.
- You are buying content volume. Agencies built around throughput do that efficiently and will cost you less than we would, because we publish considerably less and charge more for it.
- Nobody at your company can give us an hour a month. Subject-matter access is what separates content that gets cited from content that summarises the first page of Google, and without it we would be producing the latter.
The problem
Search just split in two. Most agencies are still optimising for one half.
Two outcomes, two sets of inputs, and most reporting can only see one.
For twenty years SEO had one job: rank a page, earn a click. That model assumed a human scanning ten blue links and choosing one.
A growing share of research no longer happens there. A buyer asks Perplexity to compare three vendors. They ask ChatGPT which platform suits their stack. They read a Google AI Overview and never scroll. In each case an answer is synthesised, a handful of sources are cited, and the click, if it happens at all, happens after the recommendation has already been made.
That produces two facts most agencies haven't priced in yet:
You can rank #1 and not be cited.
Position and citation are now separate outcomes with separate inputs.
You can be cited without ranking #1.
Which is the opening, and the reason a smaller brand can win visibility it could not have won in 2020.
Most agencies have not changed their process, because their reporting can’t see the problem. They still sell content volume and link counts against keyword positions. If the only instrument you own is a rank tracker, every problem looks like a ranking problem.
What's included
What organic growth actually requires
Technical SEO
Crawlability, indexation, rendering, site architecture, internal linking and Core Web Vitals. If a search engine or an AI crawler can't read the page, nothing else on this list matters.
Content & Information Gain
Briefs built from SERP analysis and entity gaps, not keyword volume alone. The question we answer before writing: what does this page contain that the ten pages above it don't?
Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO / AEO)
Structuring content so answer engines can extract, attribute and cite it. Entity clarity, direct-answer formatting, schema, and corroboration across the sources that AI models actually read.
Digital PR & Authority
Editorial links and brand mentions earned through work worth covering. We evaluate a link on relevance, traffic, editorial legitimacy and outbound-link patterns, not on Domain Rating.
Local SEO
Google Business Profile, citation consistency, review velocity and location pages. Relevant where you serve a defined geography; skipped entirely where you don't.
Measurement
GA4, Search Console, server-side tagging where needed, and AI citation tracking. You'll know which channel produced which pipeline, and we'll tell you when something isn't working.
How we work
How we work
We don't publish a fixed timeline, because the honest answer depends on where you're starting. A site with clean technical foundations moves in a fraction of the time one carrying five years of accumulated debt does, and quoting the same schedule to both would mean one of them is being misled.
What doesn't change is the order.
- 01
Diagnose
Full technical audit, SERP landscape, AI answer landscape, competitor gap analysis, and a baseline of where you're cited today. You get the findings whether or not you continue.
- 02
Prioritise
A ranked roadmap scored on impact, probability, speed and effort. You see the reasoning, not just the list, including what we've decided not to do, and why.
- 03
Fix the foundation
Technical debt first, always. Publishing content onto a site that can't be crawled, rendered or extracted is the most common way an agency wastes a client's first quarter.
- 04
Build the assets
Keyword research, content strategy, entity coverage and schema. Fewer pieces than you're used to, each built to be the best answer to a real question and structured so a machine can quote it.
- 05
Earn authority
Digital PR, editorial placement and the linkable assets that make coverage possible. Relationship-led, not volume outreach.
- 06
Measure and compound
Organic is a compounding asset. The job is to keep compounding it, and to kill what isn't working early rather than defend it in a report.
Steps one and two happen before you commit to anything ongoing. You'll see the plan, the reasoning and the sequencing before you decide whether we're the right people to run it.
SEO vs AEO vs GEO
SEO vs AEO vs GEO, what's actually different
| Dimension | Traditional SEO | AEOAnswer Engine Optimisation | GEOGenerative Engine Optimisation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Goal | Rank a URL | Own the direct answer | Be cited as a source inside a generated answer |
| Surface | Google and Bing results pages | Featured snippets, People Also Ask, voice assistants | ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Overviews |
| Unit of success | Position, then click | Snippet ownership | Citation and brand mention |
| What moves it | Relevance, authority, technical health | Question-form structure, concise direct answers, schema | Entity clarity, extractable content, corroboration across sources, freshness |
| Measured by | Rankings, clicks, conversions | Snippet share, zero-click visibility | Citation frequency, share of voice in AI answers, referral traffic |
| Most common failure | The site can't be crawled | The answer is buried three paragraphs into the prose | The content only exists after JavaScript runs |

Dr. Mehta's Hospital
Context
A multi-speciality hospital in Chennai competing for search terms where the results are dominated by national directories and aggregators rather than by hospitals themselves.
What we did
We rebuilt the site's content around transactional, high-intent queries rather than general health information, removed a backlink profile that was actively harming trust, replaced it with links from domains that had a reason to link, and fixed the crawl issues that were keeping important pages out of the index.
What the same screenshot also shows
Average position moved from 20.7 to 22.7 over the same period and click-through rate fell from 5.4% to 3.9%. That is the expected shape when impressions grow 150%: the site starts appearing for a far wider set of queries, many of them lower down the page. Total clicks still rose 81%, which is the number that matters.

Measurement
How you'll know it's working
Most agency reporting is designed to look like work. Forty pages of screenshots from tools you could have opened yourself, arranged so that something on the page is always up.
We report against two sets of numbers, and we're explicit about which is which.
Leading indicators
Move first, tell you whether the work is landing
- Technical health crawlability, indexation, render, Core Web Vitals
- Coverage pages ranking, and the range of queries you appear for
- Extraction whether your content can actually be read and quoted by AI crawlers
- Citation share how often you appear in AI answers for your category, measured against named competitors
Lagging indicators
Move later, tell you whether any of it mattered
- Qualified organic enquiries
- Pipeline and revenue attributed to organic
- Cost per qualified enquiry compared against your other channels
The bit most agencies leave out
Leading indicators climbing while lagging indicators sit flat is a signal, not a comfort. It usually means we're winning the wrong queries. We'd rather find that in the second month than the eighth, and we'll say so plainly when we see it.
The report itself
One document. What changed, what it moved, what's next, and what we got wrong. You'll have direct access to the underlying dashboards if you want them, but you shouldn't have to read a dashboard to work out whether your investment is doing anything.

Engagements
How engagements work
Three shapes, depending on what you actually need.
Diagnostic
A one-off audit and roadmap covering technical health, content, authority and AI visibility, everything prioritised, with the fix specified rather than described. Yours to keep and implement with anyone, including your own team. Some clients stop here, and that's a legitimate outcome.
Growth partnership
Ongoing strategy, technical implementation, content and authority building. Six-month minimum, then rolling. That minimum isn't a lock-in tactic. It is the shortest window in which organic work can be honestly judged, and committing to less would mean agreeing to be measured on something neither of us can see yet.
Advisory
For teams who already have the people and need the direction. Strategy, review and standards, without us doing the delivery.
What determines scope
- The size and technical condition of your site
- How competitive your category is, and in how many markets
- Whether you have content and development resource in-house
- How much of the work you want to run yourselves
We'll tell you which of these applies to you on the first call, before either of us has spent much time.
What you own
Everything. Audits, roadmaps, content, documentation, and every tool account in your own name. No proprietary dashboard you lose access to, no data you can't export, and nothing in the agreement that makes leaving expensive. If the work is only worth what it produces, we don't need to make it hard to walk away from.
We don't publish rates, because a number without scope is misleading in both directions. You'll have one on the first call, before you've committed to anything.
Why OnlyConversion
Why work with us
01We optimise for both systems, and we can show you which one is working
AI citation tracking is a standard part of every engagement, not an upsell. You'll see your share of voice inside AI answers alongside your rankings, and you'll know which of the two is producing pipeline.
02We publish less
Volume was a viable strategy when nobody else had it. Now it's the default, and it's why so much content ranks for nothing. We'd rather ship four pieces a quarter that contain something nobody else has published than forty that summarise the first page of Google.
03We report on pipeline, not rankings
Traffic is an input. Rankings are an input. Neither pays anyone's salary. If organic traffic is up and qualified enquiries are flat, we'll be the ones to raise it.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Timing and cost
What this takes to start
How long does SEO take to show results?
Meaningful movement usually appears somewhere between the third and sixth month, with compounding gains after that. Technical fixes can move things within weeks; authority and content take longer. Anyone promising results in thirty days is either targeting keywords nobody searches or is about to do something you'll regret.
How much does it cost?
It depends on scope, and we'd rather give you an accurate number on a call than a misleading one on a web page. What we can tell you upfront: we are not the cheapest option in any of the markets we work in, we work on six-month minimums for ongoing engagements, and we're a poor fit for anyone wanting to test SEO with a small budget for a quarter. If that rules us out, better that it does so now.
Do you require a long contract?
Six-month minimum on a growth partnership, then rolling monthly. The Diagnostic has no ongoing commitment at all. You can take the roadmap and implement it with your own team or another agency.
AI search, explained
The part that is genuinely new
What is Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO)?
Generative Engine Optimisation, also written generative engine optimization and sometimes called LLM SEO or AI search optimisation, is the practice of structuring content, entities and corroborating signals so that AI answer engines cite your brand as a source. Those engines are ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. Unlike traditional SEO, the goal is citation and attribution rather than a ranking position.
Can you actually influence whether ChatGPT recommends my brand?
Influence, yes. Guarantee, no, and be sceptical of anyone who says otherwise. Models draw on what they can read, what corroborates across independent sources, and what's clearly structured and attributed. Those are all things you can affect. What nobody controls is the specific wording of a generated answer.
What's the difference between SEO, AEO and GEO?
SEO earns a ranking position. AEO wins the direct answer inside a search result, such as a featured snippet. GEO earns a citation inside an AI-generated answer. They share foundations, namely crawlability, relevance and authority, but the tactics and the measurement differ. The comparison table above sets out each one.
Working together
How the engagement runs
Do you work with clients outside India?
Yes, and we have since early on. We work with clients across India, the UAE, Malaysia, the United States and the United Kingdom. Calls are scheduled in your timezone, reporting is in your currency, and our hours run to 20:00 IST, which overlaps the working morning across the Gulf and Europe.
Will you work with our existing developers?
Yes, and we prefer it. We deliver specifications your team can implement, review the work before it ships, and stay accountable for the outcome. Where you don't have a development team, we can implement directly.
What happens if it doesn't work?
We tell you, early, with the reasoning. Every engagement has agreed leading indicators that get reviewed on a fixed cadence from the start. If those aren't moving we change the approach, and if the channel is wrong for your business we'll say that too. We'd rather lose an engagement than keep invoicing against a strategy we've stopped believing in.
