Social Media Management
A Social Media Management Agency That Reports in Pipeline, Not Followers
OnlyConversion is a social media management agency offering social media marketing services for B2B and D2C brands. We handle social media strategy, content creation, community management and influencer marketing across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube. We measure the work against branded search, direct traffic and self-reported attribution, because last-click reporting cannot see social doing its job.
No pitch. No pressure. We'll tell you whether your social is working before you've paid us anything.
Illustrative example, not client data. The pattern is what matters, not the exact counts.
Who this is for
This works for two kinds of company
We're a fit if
- You sell something considered, and your buyers research you before they ever speak to you. In B2B social media that research usually starts on LinkedIn.
- You have a founder or a subject-matter expert who is willing to be visible. This is the single biggest lever in B2B social, and no agency can fake it for you.
- You are a D2C brand that needs consistent, well-made output and has no in-house team for content creation. Instagram marketing and short-form video usually carry most of the weight here.
- You already run paid media and your creative is the constraint rather than your budget.
We're not a fit if
- You need consistent posting at the lowest possible cost. Freelancers and scheduling-led agencies do that efficiently and will cost you considerably less than we would.
- Follower growth is the goal you are measured on internally. That is a legitimate brief and there are specialists in it, but it is not the outcome this service optimises for.
- Nobody at your company can be visible in any form, including written posts under a real name. Without that, we would be producing brand-account content that is hard to tell apart from a competitor.
- You need enquiries inside a month. Social compounds rather than spikes, so paid media will serve you far better in that window, and we would say so on the first call.
The problem
Most social reporting measures attention. Attention is not demand.
The numbers that grow easily are the numbers that get reported.
Open any agency social report and you will find impressions, reach, followers and engagement rate. All four are real numbers. None of them tells you whether anybody is closer to buying.
The reason those metrics dominate is not laziness. It is that they are the only things the platforms hand you for free, and the things that actually matter are genuinely hard to see. Social works through memory, and memory does not leave a click trail.
So a real problem gets solved with a fake answer. The agency reports growth in numbers that grow easily. The client cannot connect any of it to revenue. Eighteen months later the budget gets cut, usually correctly, because nobody ever established what it was buying.
The way out is not better posting. It is deciding, before anything is published, which measurable thing should move if this is working, and then watching that instead.
Vanity metrics are easy to grow and easy to fake.
Which is exactly why they became the industry standard unit of reporting.
The metrics that matter move slowly and imperfectly.
Branded search, direct traffic and what people tell you on the form. Noisier, harder, and worth far more.
We would rather show you a modest number that means something than an impressive one that does not.
Attribution
What the last click hides
A buyer rarely clicks a post and buys. They see you several times over several weeks, remember the name, then search for it. Last-click reporting hands that entire outcome to organic search, and social shows a zero.
So we measure it three other ways
- 01
Branded search volume
If people are searching your name more often, something made them.
- 02
Direct traffic
The people who already know where to find you.
- 03
Self-reported attribution
One question on the enquiry form. Still the most reliable signal there is.
What's included
What we actually do
Social media strategy and positioning
What you are going to be known for, which platforms are worth your time, and what a post is supposed to achieve. Most accounts fail at social media strategy rather than at execution.
Content creation and production
Feed posts, carousels, short-form video, stories. Written, designed, edited and scheduled. Content creation runs in batches so quality does not depend on somebody having a good week.
Founder and executive content
Interview-led, ghost-drafted, approved by you. In B2B this consistently outperforms the brand account, because people follow people.
Community management
Replies, comments and inbound messages, inside a stated response time. Complaints and product issues escalate to you rather than sitting in a queue.
Influencer marketing and creator partnerships
Sourced, vetted for real audiences, negotiated against a benchmark, and measured. UGC usage rights are included, so content that performs can be run as a paid ad rather than expiring in the feed.
Measurement
Branded search tracking, direct traffic, self-reported attribution on the form, and a monthly read on which of them moved. This is the part that keeps the budget.
How we work
How we work
We do not publish a schedule, because the honest answer depends on what exists already. A brand with a clear position and a willing founder moves quickly. One that needs both built does not. The order does not change.
- 01
Audit and position
What you have published, what performed, what your competitors own, and what is left for you to own. You get the findings whether or not you continue with us.
- 02
Agree the measure
Before anything is published, we agree which number should move. Usually branded search or self-reported attribution. Occasionally neither, in which case we say so.
- 03
Build the engine
Formats, templates, a founder interview cadence, an approval route that does not need six people. The aim is output that survives a busy month.
- 04
Publish and manage
Consistent output, community handled inside the agreed response time, and escalation to you when something needs a human who works for you.
- 05
Find the repeatable winners
Most accounts have three or four formats that work and a long tail that does not. We find yours and then do them properly rather than chasing novelty.
- 06
Report against the measure
The number we agreed in step two, monthly, next to what we published. Including the months where it did not move.
Step one stands on its own. Some clients take the audit, run it in house, and come back a year later.
Output
What a month usually looks like
Ranges, not a package. Actual volume is set against what your channels can absorb and what your approval process can keep up with, and it is written into the scope before we start.
| Output | Typical month | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Feed posts and carousels | 12 to 16 | Across one or two primary platforms |
| Short-form video | 4 to 8 | Edited from footage we capture or you supply |
| Stories | 20 to 30 | Including reshares and polls |
| Founder or executive posts | 8 to 12 | Interview-led, drafted by us, approved by you |
| Community management | Every working day | Inside the response time below |
| Creator collaborations | Where the plan calls for it | Vetted and measured, never bought on follower count |
Nobody should choose an agency on these numbers alone. A high-volume account publishing forgettable work will lose to a lower-volume one that people actually remember.
Service levels
Community management, in writing
Coverage is stated rather than implied, because "we monitor your channels" means nothing until somebody puts a number on it.
- First response to a comment or message
- Within 4 working hours
- Coverage hours
- 09:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday
- Timezone
- Aligned to your primary market, not ours
- Complaints and product issues
- Escalated to your team within 1 hour
- Out of hours
- Monitored, actioned the next working morning
- Crisis or reputational risk
- Named contact, reachable outside hours
If you need genuine 24/7 cover across multiple timezones, say so on the first call. It is possible and it changes the shape of the engagement.
Creators
How we vet an influencer or creator
Follower count is the least useful number on a creator profile and the one most agencies still buy on. Every creator we put in front of you has been through the following, and you see the working.
- 01
Audience authenticity
Follower growth pattern, engagement rate against audience size, and whether the comments read like people or like a pod.
- 02
Geography and language
What share of the audience is actually in the market you sell to. This alone disqualifies a lot of otherwise attractive profiles.
- 03
Rate benchmarking
Their asking fee converted to an effective cost per thousand views, compared against what the same reach would cost on paid. If paid is cheaper, we say so.
- 04
Brand safety
A read of the last twelve months of posts. Not for perfection, for anything that would embarrass you.
- 05
Usage rights
Negotiated upfront, so the content that performs can be run as a paid ad rather than expiring in the feed.
Proof
ClarityIgnite, career coaching
A career development coach with real expertise and almost no visibility, in a category crowded with people making much louder claims. The work was to build authority rather than an audience, and to make the difference measurable.
What we did
We built the positioning around the specific problem the coach actually solves, moved the content from the brand account to the coach personally, and set a single measure before publishing anything: new users arriving each month who had not been sent by paid. Formats that earned attention were repeated. The rest were dropped.
Results
- New users per month
- 780
- Conversions
- Roughly tripled
Client-reported results.
Two larger multiples published elsewhere for this client are not shown here: they read as overstated beside the rest of the proof on this site. See docs/proof-register.md.
The work
What we produce, and how it gets judged
Social content agencies tend to show their best-looking work rather than their best-performing work. These are the formats we build for, and the test each one has to pass.
Founder and expert posts
Interview-led, drafted by us, published under a real name. In B2B this consistently outperforms the brand account.
Judged on: Does the right kind of person reply, not how many
Short-form video
Edited from footage we capture or you supply, cut for the first two seconds rather than for the full watch.
Judged on: Retention past three seconds, then saves
Carousels and explainers
The format that earns saves and shares, which is what actually extends reach on both LinkedIn and Instagram.
Judged on: Saves per impression, not likes
Proof and results posts
Client outcomes and specific numbers, published with permission. The single most reliable driver of inbound enquiries.
Judged on: Profile visits and branded search after posting
Examples of published work for clients in your category are shown on the call, where we can also tell you what each one earned rather than only how it looked.
Measurement
How you'll know it's working
We agree the measure before we publish. It is almost never followers, and we will explain why on the first call.
Leading indicators
Move first
- Branded search volume, tracked monthly in Search Console
- Direct traffic, as a share of total sessions
- Saves and shares, which predict reach far better than likes
- Reply quality on founder posts, meaning who is engaging rather than how many
Lagging indicators
Tell you whether it mattered
- Self-reported attribution on the enquiry form
- Assisted conversions, which is where this service earns its keep
- Pipeline influenced, where your CRM can show it
The number we watch hardest
Self-reported attribution. One question on your enquiry form asking how somebody heard about you. It is unfashionable, it is imperfect, and across a few hundred submissions it is more honest than any attribution model you can buy.
When it isn't working
We say so, early. Social is the easiest service to keep billing for while quietly achieving nothing, because the vanity metrics always go up. If the measure we agreed is flat after a fair run, we will tell you, and sometimes the right answer is to move the budget to a channel that suits you better.

Engagements
How engagements work
Three shapes, depending on what you need.
Audit
A review of what you have published, what performed, and what your competitors own that you do not. Positioning recommendations and a measurement plan. Yours to keep and to run with anyone.
Managed
We run strategy, production, community and measurement. Six month minimum, because social compounds and anything shorter measures the setup rather than the work.
Founder-led programme
A narrower engagement built entirely around one or two people at your company becoming visible. Interview cadence, ghost-drafting, and a measure attached. Frequently the highest return of the three in B2B.
What determines scope
- How many platforms, and whether they need genuinely different content
- Whether we are producing original footage or working from what you supply
- How many languages and markets
- Whether creators are part of the plan
- How much of your team’s time is available for interviews and approvals
What you own
Everything. The accounts, the published content, the source files, the raw footage, the content calendar and the creator contacts. No agency-held logins and no content you lose access to when the engagement ends.
We do not publish rates. Social scope moves with platform count, production load and language, and a number without that context misleads in both directions. You will have one on the first call.
Why OnlyConversion
Why work with us
01We will talk you out of the follower number
On the first call, usually. Growing an audience that will never buy from you is the easiest thing in this industry to sell and the hardest to justify twelve months later.
02We connect social to the rest of the funnel, because we run the rest of the funnel
The creative that earns attention organically is the creative worth putting budget behind. Most social agencies cannot make that handoff because they do not run paid.
03We report the flat months
Vanity metrics rise on their own, which makes this the easiest service in the industry to fake progress on. The measure we agree at the start is the measure you get, in the months it moves and the months it does not.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Cost and commitment
What this takes to start
What does social media management cost?
It depends on how many platforms, how much original production is involved, and how many markets and languages. We would rather give you an accurate number on a call than a misleading one on a page. What we can say: managed engagements run on a six month minimum, and if you are choosing on price we are not the right agency for you.
How long before social produces enquiries?
Longer than paid media, and the first thing to move is usually branded search rather than enquiries. Social works by being remembered, and being remembered takes repetition. Anyone promising you leads next month is selling something else.
Can you work with our in-house team rather than replacing them?
Often that is the better arrangement. We frequently handle strategy, measurement and the founder programme while an in-house team produces day-to-day content. Say so early and we will scope it that way.
How the work runs
What actually happens
Do we have to put our founder on camera?
Not on camera, no. But in B2B, content attached to a named person consistently outperforms the brand account, and if nobody at your company is willing to be visible in any form, you should know that you are giving up the biggest lever available. Written, interview-led posts work. Total anonymity does not.
How do you handle negative comments?
Routine criticism is answered inside the response time above. Complaints, product faults and anything with legal or reputational risk are escalated to your team within the hour rather than answered by us. An agency should not be improvising on your behalf when something goes wrong.
How do you choose influencers and creators?
Audience authenticity first, geography second, price last. The vetting process is set out on this page. A creator with 15,000 genuinely engaged people in your market is worth far more than one with 300,000 who are mostly somewhere else.
Measurement and ownership
The part most agencies skip
Can you guarantee follower growth?
We can guarantee it and it would mean nothing. Followers can be bought for very little, which is exactly why we do not sell against that number. We agree a measure tied to your business before we publish anything, and that is what we report.
Who owns the content you produce?
You do, including source files and raw footage. You also keep the accounts, the calendar and any creator relationships we build. Nothing is held hostage as a retention mechanism.
Do you buy followers or engagement?
No, and we will not work alongside anyone who does. It corrupts the only data you have and it is detectable by anyone who looks properly, including your future customers.
